The Vetted Collectionby Your Wandering Roots

Four directions for the same brand. Same words, same structure, same product — dressed four different ways, so you can react to the feel. Pick one to take forward (or mix elements across them).

All four share the strategy: an independent, editorial identity for the vetted venue + team collection; a small detachable “by Your Wandering Roots” endorsement; and a numbered “collection entry” motif shown two ways on every board — the card (one venue, richly) and the list (the whole collection at a glance), which doubles as the AEO spec data. Each is kept clear of Laurel & Lamp’s evergreen-and-gold so the two partner brands never blur. Two carry a script accent (Reserve, Field).

Concept 1

The Reserve

Wine-cellar oxblood on warm bone. Classic editorial Caslon with a Pinyon Script flourish, numbered catalogue plates. Warm, premium, trustworthy.

Oxblood · Libre Caslon + script · catalogue
Concept 2

The Gallery

Jewel-toned aubergine, high-contrast DM Serif, venues hung like pieces in a show. The most art-directed, design-forward option.

Aubergine · DM Serif Display · exhibition
Concept 3

The Atlas

Ink-navy & terracotta, literary Spectral + mono coordinates, a field-register motif. Timeless, credible, widest-audience.

Navy · Spectral · registry
Concept 4

The Field

A fresher fern green + coral, airy Cormorant with a Tangerine field-note hand. Herbarium specimen sheets. Keeps Anna’s love of green — but clearly not Laurel & Lamp.

Fern green · Cormorant + script · herbarium

How to use these: each board shows palette, type, the venue card + list views, a hero, and the voice — directional, not finished sites. Tell me which direction (or which pieces of each) lands and I’ll build the real home + venue pages in it. Name shown as The Vetted Collection; The Vetted Reserve is the live alternate — worth locking first, since it sets the metaphor. (Photos are placeholders pending Stacy’s licensed shot.)
